Working with Genex, we built a process for activating user website accounts across all Honda customer web properties including those of Acura and Honda Motorsports.
The Challenge: Create and document a process and design template that would work across Honda’s diverse business units. It had to be simple to the user, yet flexible enough across the many web properties to accommodate various scenarios that were likely to come up for different users, including incorporating financing accounts, and registering vehicles.
The Solution: I worked closely with the business and development teams to document the way the current system worked, while recommending changes to simplify the user experience and overall process. I created templates which were easy for the design and development teams to use and allowed them to understand where they had flexibility and where they did not. The result: a system which works for users, product/business owners, designers and developers alike.
